Ford accident update from Long Route -

David Clark (0025) unfortunately crashed on the crossing of the ford not long after the feed station and this resulted in an Ambulance being called and transferring him to Cheltenham General Hospital for treatment for broken ribs and shoulder. We have spoken to David and he is in very good spirits although understandably uncomfortable. He has asked that we pass on his very grateful thanks to the riders who stopped to help him and to all riders who passed him for their concern and best wishes. In his own word's - "I will be back next year to tackle the rest of the course" 

All of us here at Velo Sportives and we're sure as fellow riders you all wish Dave a speedy recovery and hope you're back on 2 wheels again soon.
